halloween event was the only time I woke up frozen to the ground.

my hint ... brown tarp and a sleeping bag. Lay down the tarp, get in the sleeping bag and roll. Unlikely you'll be found if you do it in an out of the way place, and it keeps you dry and warm. The trick ... don't suffocate.

A favorite moment? A group of PCs where hiding very, very quietly in the 242 cabin. The only one for sure I remember being in there is Hilbig. Geoff, playing the Pantherghast, sneaks up very quietly and knocks on the door. Hilbig asks "who's there". Geoff, very matter-of-factly, answers "Pantherghast". Hilbig's response? "Yeah right" and opens the door.

Halloween events are awesome the adrenaline rush makes you run at blinding speeds. In fact that's mostly all I remember is running. Its funny how utterly useless a group of elves becomes against the Pantherghast, and knowing it before the event every year, all right here we go again.

In the old rules I never made it past level 6. Halloween was my 2nd event. We were at the ridge for some damned reason (emphasis on damned) where all us lowbies were seperated from the rest of the group by a wall of bone. I ended up using Nacius' body as a shield while shadows continually threw "6 dark" packets at me, at the same time as digging through a wall of bone with my other hand.
